Toddlers

At Nature’s Way International Montessori, our toddler program caters to children aged 18 months to 3 years old, a crucial period known as the unconscious learning phase. During this absorbent phase, children learn through absorption, requiring maximum exposure to stimulating activities. Our program provides a nurturing environment where toddlers can socialize, interact, and begin to work on their separation anxiety. Through carefully designed activities, children refine their fine and gross motor skills, engage in practical life exercises, and develop sensory awareness.

Our classroom is meticulously tailored to meet the needs of toddlers, encouraging them to explore and absorb their surroundings. Language development is a key focus, with ample opportunities for conversation and interaction, fostering early communication skills. Practical life activities, such as pouring, scooping, and sorting, help children refine their motor skills and build a foundation for future learning. Sensory activities are integrated to enhance their understanding of the world through touch, sight, sound, and smell.

We also place a strong emphasis on fostering independence and self-care skills, including potty training. Our supportive environment encourages toddlers to take the first steps towards independence, giving them the confidence and abilities needed for the next stage of conscious learning. By providing a rich, absorbing environment, we ensure that our toddlers are well-prepared for their ongoing educational journey, ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm.
