Toddler Teacher

NWIM  is seeking a Montessori trained toddler teacher for an immediate start.

Responsibilities include:

  •  Plan and create an effective and age-appropriate program for children in the 18month-3years age group in a nurturing and developmentally friendly environment according to NWIM curriculum.
  • Use a positive and consistent approach towards child management that is compatible with the philosophy and values of Nature’s Way International Montessori.
  • Ability to demonstrate solid working knowledge of all the relevant sections of the Child Care Early Years Act.
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy at all times

Required Qualifications:

  • Accredited Toddler Montessori Diploma or certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a toddler environment
  • Working knowledge in current COVID practices
  • First Aid- Level C
  • Updated immunization record, Covid19 vaccinations.
  • at least 3 references

French Teacher

We are searching for a reliable and enthusiastic French teacher to join our team. The French teacher will be tasked with teaching students how to speak and write in French, developing a range of assessments including written and oral tests, and creating an overall positive learning experience. 

You should be able to work with students who have different capabilities and interests.

To be successful as a French teacher, you should demonstrate patience, passion, and excellent analytical skills. 

Outstanding candidates are able to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses and take an innovative approach to language teaching.

French Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the capabilities of the students and developing appropriate lesson plans according to NWIM curriculum.
  • Pronouncing words and phrases in French and explaining their meanings to students.
  • Conducting research to develop appropriate learning materials, language games, and other teaching aids.

Using both in-class activities and online resources and platforms to create a blended learning environment.

  • Teaching the various tiers of French to students.
  • Grading written, oral observation assessments.
  • Scheduling feedback sessions with students and providing extra support or enrichment activities as required.
  • Making recommendations for students to further learning and development.
  • Organizing Montessori classes and fun events where students can engage with French culture.
  • Updating records and handling various administrative duties.

French Teacher Requirement qualifications:

  1. Degree in French language or literature.
  2. Degree in education or a teaching certificate is required.
  3. Proven proficiency in oral and written French.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Patience and resilience.
  7. Innovative thinking.
  8. Good administration skills.
  9. At least 3 references

Elementary Teacher

NWIM is seeking a Montessori educator with a rich, diverse background who will follow the montessori curriculum to encourage and inspire young students at every turn. To teach according to the child’s needs makes learning much more meaningful and relevant to the child. When we follow the child, teaching becomes a gift and not a chore since it is readily accepted, internalized, and mastered.

NWIM’s Lower Elementary curriculm centers on these ideals, focusing on Montessori philosophy and methodology as it relates to the developmental and social needs of students in the 6–9,  9-12 age range

Qualifications:

Montessori Diploma

1-10 years of experience in a Montessori classroom.

School Chef

NWIM is seeking a Chef with a passion for food to cater to our Students and Staff  to start immediately.   Candidates will be responsible for inventory as well as healthy meal  planning. Potential candidates should demonstrate a variety of culinary skills and be able to work efficiently.
